About the FIFA World Cup 2026
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the 23rd edition of the tournament — the first to be co-hosted by three nations: Canada, Mexico and the United States. It is also the first World Cup to feature an expanded format of 48 national teams playing 104 matches across 16 host cities. The tournament kicks off in Mexico City and the final will be played at MetLife Stadium in New York / New Jersey.
